Our FREE Algorithm Study Team (F.A.S.T) program focuses on problem-solving with advanced algorithms, and is designed to be challenging, collaborative and deliver results upon completion.

Its collaborative structure ensures participants who complete the program are set up to succeed in difficult coding interviews and prepared to apply their problem-solving skills in their future career.

Prospective students must hold a baccalaureate degree from an accredited, four-year university. While anyone with a desire to enhance their skills with advanced algorithms is welcome to enroll in F.A.S.T., it is recommended that those who wish to enroll in the program have a basic knowledge in programming/computer science. Our typical cohorts include individuals described below:

• Recent graduates of bachelor’s or master’s degree programs who have a desire to enhance their knowledge in advanced algorithms
• Experienced professionals who seek to elevate their skills and/or ensure they are equipped to succeed in technical job interviews
• Computer professions from outside the United States who have recently immigrated and are seeking interview and skills enhancement for their first job in the United States

As part of the admissions process, USTSV faculty will conduct interviews and a technical screening to evaluate fit and technical ability prior to entering the program.

Prospective students will be notified of faculty recommendations prior to making a decision to enroll.
